3/50 Supports Local Businesses
The West Central Chamber encourages all community members to support local businesses by applying the 3/50 principal. The 3/50 project asks consumers to spend a total of $50 a month at three locally owned businesses. It's not hard to do; think of where you spend your money for goods and services. Do you visit the feed store, get your hair done, have breakfast at the local diner? You do? Fantastic! Keep it up! and visit www.the350project.net and sign up as a supporter. If you are a local business that has a bricks-and-mortar location, you can download free materials to promote the drive to support YOUR business as well as your neighbor's!
Chamber members, show your stuff!
The Chamber is seeking members who are interested in hosting an after-hours
event at your place of business. How can you get involved? Call Jami White
at 765-762-6767 to get on the schedule. Members and prospects will be invited
to your location to enjoy an hour or so of networking and refreshments,
and you will have a chance to talk about your business and give a tour
if you want. The Chamber is planning these once-a-month events as an opportunity
for local business people to get to know each other in an informal atmosphere.
Grab the chance to show your stuff and get on the list for this event.
