Expo 2010

The Expo provides the opportunity to network with service agencies, retail businesses, manufacturers, and more during this one-day event. Feature a product or service; recruit new employees; reach new customers and clients; and network with other businesses.

This year the Expo will be held in mid October, and will be located at the Wabash Valley Bible Baptist Church on US 41 between Attica and Williamsport. The new location and date should bring many new visitors and exhibitors.

We are inviting you to be involved in the Expo. Right now, you can volunteer to help with the planning phase. Go to our Expo page to sign up for a committee. We are accepting early registrations for exhibitors, and you will now be able to register online!

“I have obtained several new customer leads from this event each year. The Expo is a relaxed and fun networking environment! ” says Matt Akers, owner of the Gutter Group of Pine Village and Rainbow Realty.

Matt knows what he's talking about! You, too, can have fun netowrking in a relaxed atmosphere and meet new customers when you join the other exhibitors at the 2010 Chamber Expo!

3/50 Supports Local Businesses

The West Central Chamber encourages all community members to support local businesses by applying the 3/50 principal. The 3/50 project asks consumers to spend a total of $50 a month at three locally owned businesses. It's not hard to do; think of where you spend your money for goods and services. Do you visit the feed store, get your hair done, have breakfast at the local diner? You do? Fantastic! Keep it up! and visit www.the350project.net and sign up as a supporter. If you are a local business that has a bricks-and-mortar location, you can download free materials to promote the drive to support YOUR business as well as your neighbor's!

WC Chamber e-newsletter

The Chamber’s new e-mail newsletter features Chamber business members’ activities and news. Meetings, events and workshops sponsored by the Chamber will be included too. The e-newsletter will be delivered to all Chamber members who have provided an email address to us. And, according to the federal CAN-SPAM law, delivery will be permission-based. What that means is the Chamber must provide an easy-to-use unsubscribe method, and remove addresses of those who do not wish to receive the newsletter.

So, how does this benefit Chamber members? Not only will this give members another way to communicate with each other, but it also presents a great marketing opportunity.
• Promote your business to owners, managers and decision-makers
• Announce product specials, recognize employees, and educate customers
• Reach an important demographic, like-minded people who are interested in your business

We will also be delivering the e-newsletter to other interested prospects who may want to join the Chamber, or who are interested in learning about the successful business people who are members of the organization. We added a "subscribe" link on the home page to make it easy for visitors to sign up and receive the publication regularly.

There will be no additional cost to receiving the newsletter. Space will be made available to paying advertisers at very reasonable rates. Members will have first choice on advertising space, non-members are welcome to advertise as well as space allows.
